2017 Print of the Year "Backstage Jitters"

This year’s RGS/AWS Print of the Year is named "Backstage Jitters" by Bob Bertram. The piece shows the behavior of a male grouse prior to pounding his thunderous message on a springtime drumming log. Bob Bertram is a professional artist from Missouri who is well-known for his commission artwork of bird dogs. "I paint because I enjoy the process, from the initial development of the idea to the last session when the final strokes are applied. Each print will be signed and numbered by the artist in a limited edition size of 500. Print size is 26" by 20 1/4" and image size is 23” x 17 1/4". Order while supplies last.
